Amirang Clinic practices compassionate medicine centered on the lives of our patients,
from diagnosis to treatment and recovery.
Radiofrequency hyperthermia applies heat above 40°C to the cancer-affected area,
selectively destroying cancer cells while sparing normal ones.
This rise in body temperature activates immune cells, enhancing overall immunity.
Research shows that when combined with chemotherapy or radiation therapy,
the effectiveness of treatment significantly increases.
High-frequency energy penetrates deep into the body,
heating cancer cells above 42°C while minimizing damage to normal cells, reducing their function and leading them to necrosis.
The REMISSION1℃ radiofrequency hyperthermia device has been officially certified and evaluated by multiple authorities,
objectively proving its safety and effectiveness.
This ensures that every patient can undergo treatment with confidence and peace of mind.
Unlike normal cells, cancer cells have
mutated DNA and incomplete vascular structures.
This makes them less able to regulate heat, causing damage more easily when exposed to high temperatures.
At temperatures above 42°C, they lose function and undergo necrosis earlier than normal cells.
Based on this principle, radiofrequency hyperthermia
selectively weakens and destroys cancer cells.
NK cells, or natural killer cells,
directly attack cancer cells in the body.
Numerous clinical cases and data clearly show how treatment leads to real immune enhancement.
NK cells play a key role in innate immunity,
attacking virus-infected cells and cancer cells as part of the body’s self-defense system.

Before and After Thermal Therapy (HEAT TREATMENT)”
Provides various benefits such as pain relief,
inflammation reduction, and immune enhancement,
and is used as a safe complementary therapy to support strength and recovery.

Is hyperthermia possible if I have a stent, colostomy, or urostomy?

Patients with stents, colostomies, or urostomies can safely receive hyperthermia treatment.
Many patients worry about burns from increased heat during treatment with a stent,
but based on the heat transfer method of REMISSION 1℃, it is theoretically safe,
and no safety issues have been reported in clinical experience so far.
If more than two months have passed since colostomy or urostomy surgery,
hyperthermia can be performed safely while avoiding the affected area,
so there is no need to worry.

Can I receive radiofrequency
hyperthermia every day?

In the past, hyperthermia was recommended 2–3 times per week,
but recent studies show that if deep tissue temperature reaches 42℃,
it can actually act as a trigger to enhance immune response against cancer cells.
With Amirang’s REMISSION 1℃ system, this heat shock resistance can be overcome,
making daily treatment completely safe and effective.
At Amirang Clinic, as long as patients feel comfortable,
daily sessions of 1–2 hours—or even two 2-hour sessions per day—are possible.

Are there any side effects from radiofrequency hyperthermia?

Since radiofrequency hyperthermia uses electrical energy,
there is a small risk of mild heat-related burns.
However, when performed carefully with proper communication between the therapist and patient, major side effects are extremely rare.
Minor effects such as mild discomfort in areas with thicker fat layers may occur,
but these usually resolve naturally over time.
To date, Amirang Clinic has not encountered any serious side effects
from hyperthermia treatments.
We’ve created a warm, cozy environment so patients can receive treatment comfortably and without tension.
We carefully prepared the space so treatment is not just a procedure, but a process where body and mind recover together.
